Note From Texas Hill Country – CT is a blogger and a dedicated Conservative Republican.  This is the story about how (s)he came to know the PUMA movement and subsequent impressions.  I found this very interesting, wonderfully written and asked if I could cross-post the article here.  CT was kind enough to allow me to do so, and here you go…

A few days ago one of the contributors on Conservative Badlands did a piece called the PUMA Factor, it was a look at how this block of voters might be one of the groups to decide the Presidential election in 08’. It made me realize that I didn’t know much about their movement or philosophies, other than the obvious. PUMA means Party Unity My Ass and they were angry because HRC got lambasted in the primaries and there was a SERIOUS possibility of caucus manipulation. So, I had an out of the ordinary idea, I figured go into their virtual community and ask them if anyone would be interested in answering a few questions for this post. Well I got some takers.

Most of the PUMA’s that answered the call of the wild in my open thread were female but the composite of their whole movement, I imagine, is a little harder to determine. One very pleasant and intelligent woman, who goes by the SN, Angrynana said this, “Also, there is a mistake in thinking all Pumas and Puma types are older, white women. There are men, people of many religions, all races, gays and lesbians, young, middle-aged, and older Pumas. There are groups from the West and the East. There are Native American Pumas and African American Pumas.” I can honestly say I believe this assessment. Since there were about 18 million people who voted for Hillary in the primaries and the Democratic Party is noted for its pluralism, it makes sense they are a very diverse lot.

What I was more curious about was what brought them to this point and what were they going to do after the election. Their responses ranged from moving to the GOP, going Independent, to retaking the Democratic Party. Judging the answers, Ereizindian sums the majority of their thoughts up well, “If the Dem leadership continues to deprecate its members who were slandered and vilified in the primaries and GE, I shall become an Indie, possibly on my way to becoming a Republican.” This is not to say all of sudden they identify with the Republican or Conservative movement. For them, however, it will be a near strategic impossibility to retake the Democratic Party. It has slid too far into an abyss of identity politics and viral cult worship, it is no longer about issues, it is about one man.

Despite their obvious visceral anger towards the Democratic Party establishment a single theme reigned supreme in the great majority of their posts and emails. Helen put it best, “IT IS COUNTRY AND PRINCIPLES BEFORE PARTY.” I was absolutely, jaw droppingly, astounded to hear a Hillary supporting Democrat in Exile say this. These responses gave me the insight to look at them as I have never looked at a political opponent before, I saw Americans who care about their country. This got me thinking, who am I to judge whether they can love their country just because they are Democrats. Neither Republicans nor Conservatives have the copyright or moniker on patriotism. After all aren’t PUMA’s demonstrating this by standing by our sides?

They have become apostates to their party but not their country, that speaks volumes to me. PUMA’s have recognized that this is about America, not a singular person. They also understand this has nothing to do with the sweeping change and one man, little m, cannnot shoulder this all by his lonesome. That goal is far too lofty and enchanting to be anywhere near reality. Truth be told, he is neither Atlas nor Prometheus, even if he thinks he is.

In closing I would like to thank all of the ladies and gentlemen who so graciously accepted my invite to participate in this undertaking, I hope I did you justice. Sometimes we get reminders of things from unexpected sources and that is what the PUMA’s did for me. My suggestion to Republicans and Conservatives, alike, try and understand them. Politically we may need them as much as they need us, we are rapidly becoming a house that is acquiring vacancies and they may need a home. More importantly, they are Americans who love their country enough to look past partisan lines. That, my friends, is the miracle of being an American first.

ALERT!!!! – PUMA/JustSayNoDeal Co-Founder Will Bower Has Facebook Acct Deleted?

Looks like the Obots may be up to their old tricks.  Several months ago, a legion of Obots alerted on a handful of PUMA blogs on Google’s Blogger and had them shut down.  It was so bad that even Fox News picked up on the story.

And now, it seems that Facebook is the newest group to be complicit in Obot prompted censorship.

Will Bower, co-founder of PUMA and Just Say No Deal, had his facebook account suspended with no explanation.

There are several theories flying around, but I will not speculate at this time.  When more is known, I will update you.

Until then, back up your blogs, download your xml’s and safeguard your info!

Update: Unconfirmed reports tell me that Will’s account has been suspended for “spamming.”  This is the same accusation that was used to get the puma blogs on blogger banned.  I will be contacting Will later tonight for an update on the situation.  Thanks!

Final Update: Will’s account has been reinstated.  No official word yet as to why it was suspended, but regardless, another chapter of our fight against censorship by the Obamanation is complete.

Ferraro on FOX – PUMA Is Still There And Not Coming Back

In yet another comment about PUMA that will probably never make it to print…

On Friday Alan Colmes was repeating the Democrat’s talking point about how picking Sarah Palin as VP was cynical, an insult to women and would not peel away Hillary Clinton’s supporters from the Democratic Party…

At this point, Geraldine Ferraro interjected with this little beauty:

I think the PUMA people, the people who were the original ones who said you know we’re there, our party has let Hillary down, they really resent the way that Hillary was treated by the press and by the Obama campaign. Those are the people who will never come back. And, by the party in particular, who say will ‘I don’t care about anything the thing I care about how are women treated on this level and you didn’t treat women right’ those people will, and I have heard from a lot of them, those people will vote for McCain, if they can’t vote for McCain, they’ll write-in Hillary’s name, if they can’t write in Hillary’s name, what they’ll do is they’ll just stay off the line.

Hillary Can’t Fix What Her Party Broke….

…for Hillary’s angry backers, the issue is no longer what was done to her. It was about what was done to them.

Democrats had turned on fellow Democrats, and although the arrows flew in all directions, the nastiest of the invective fell on the ladies who loved Hillary. That these loyal Democrats had been targeted made them nuts.

How strange that anyone writing for a political site would be smeared for backing a candidate of the same party. If the Democratic leadership had any sense of self-preservation, it would have shunned creepy bloggers and those who provided their forum. Instead, it hailed them as voices of the new generation.

The Democrats clearly have a hooligan problem. It was as though their left-wingers suffered a kind of Karl Rove envy. They wanted to go on the attack, demonize a Clinton and hurl abuse at the Clinton’s friends. Only a year ago, Vanity Fair ran a cover story on how Clinton hatred had infected much of the right wing. The left seems to have grabbed the baton. And it apparently did not dawn on the Obama shock troops that they were offending the very people their man might someday need.

The Rovian right never made that mistake with non-candidates. It reserved its thuggery for people who would never vote for a Republican.

Thank You So Much For All Your Support!

My email box has been overflowing in response to my announcement that I will be supporting the McCain/Palin ticket.  I will be going over the issues and platforms in the next several weeks and evaluating them through a Democrats eyes.  I suspect that we will find that we have much more in common with McCain/Palin than we ever thought!!!

Regardless, the Democrats have given men and (especially) women that have opinions and concerns a huge signal…  “we don’t want you, get the hell out of our party!”

So, Democratic Party, here is an example of what is really happening….  This is an email I recieved recently…

Thank you, Thank you, and Thank you! I have always believed everything you wrote!

I was afraid I was the only one who felt this way.  I personally have joined the Log Cabin Republicans: a group of gays and lesbians within the Republican Party that works for equality for all people regardless of gender, race, or sexual orientation. This is how I choose to tell the Democratic Party, I no longer have faith in the democratic process of the Democratic Party. I am a gay evangelical Episcopalian; my faith guides my heart and my vote! I believe in equality for all regardless of gender, race, religion, ethnicity, or sexual orientation!

I have been praying McCain would choose Sarah ever since I learned about her on Liberal Rapture. Palin gave Ferraro and Hillary wonderful praise in her speech today. I love the fact that it is a historical pick for the Republicans and gives McCain further status as a Maverick. Scott Rasmussen predicted this as a good pick and would be better for McCain than another middle-aged, Washington insider, white guy… like Obama’s pick! Biden has been in the senate since Nixon; is that Change You Can Believe In?

I love the fact Sarah Palin is a woman of principle, she was journalist, an environmentalist and a hunter, a mom of five, and a mom of a special needs child, like my mom. My mom had five kids, cooked wild game my grandfather and father brought home, taught me to shoot and to fish and to take care of the land.  My mom once shot an armadillo that was under our house (built at the turn of the century) and was digging around and shaking the natural gas lines that provided fuel for our space heaters. She did this in the middle of the night with me lying on the ground next to her holding a flashlight and she got him with one shot. She did this to protect our home from a broken gas line which could have killed our family; if she had missed and hit a gas line, our home and family would all have been killed.  She didn’t miss, and it gave me a new respect for her and for women.  I was 10. That experience has stayed with me to this day. Don’t mess with a Mom; she will protect her family, and her country!

The Democrats are already trashing her and saying she has no experience! She has owned her own business, she has been a union member, a city council member, a mayor, a state ethics board member, as governor she is a reformer and gave a tax rebate from big oil back to the people in her state.  Obama’s resume’ pales in comparison to hers. Palin’s PTA experience beats Obama’s resume. I must point out, she is not at the top of the ticket; McCain is! They say McCain is so old he is going to die and leave the country on her shoulders, how ageist can they get?  Biden will be 66 if Obama is elected.

They are also saying she only got it because she was a woman and McCain wants Hillary voters. The Democrats are saying she shouldn’t run because of her kids and her disabled baby. Would they say that about a man with kids and a disabled child?  What does that say about the good ole boy network in the Democratic Party? They are saying Biden can’t debate her because he will be seen as picking on a woman.  What do they think he did in the debates with Hillary Clinton?  Is she not a woman?  Obama and Biden are such sleazy, sexist pigs!  They have such a double standard.

NBC is having a field day and attacked her while she was speaking by putting up the headline text: Breaking News! How many houses will Palin add to the Republican ticket? CNN is trashing her for lack of experience, saying that the Abomination has more experience and that McCain wants to bait Obama into a fight on that topic.  Even Bill O’Reilly is attacking her! I thought he was a good guy, fair and balanced, and now I learn that he is a sexist pig, and no better than Keith Olberman.

Sean Hannity and Russ Limbaugh are thrilled and have nothing but good things to say about Palin, they did point out her few shortcomings, but not in a sexist pig way. They stated that no one is a perfect candidate and said her Washington outsider status is a good thing for McCain’s new message of Real Change for Washington.

I am so angry at the MSM and the Democrats and Democratic Party’s ticket, I can’t see straight. Trust me; they will get a piece of my mind, not that I can afford to give any away! But, I am going to!

Also, Hurricane Gustav looks like it is coming Louisiana’s way.  Please keep the Gulf Coast in your thoughts and prayers.  I hope it doesn’t go toward you in Texas; y’all are still recovering from all that rain and flooding from that tropical storm. Thanks for all you do to keep your readers and friends on your blog informed.

Introducing Sarah Palin

Day 2… Ok, So I Gave A Speech At The Rise Hillary Rise Event…

Somehow Darragh Murphy conned me into giving a speech at the Rise event in Cheeseman Park, and it was pretty tough on me.  I have been on a sort of outrage autopilot, but getting up there to give the speech I had to communicate what I saw to others, and it made me very very sad.

I had not prepared a speech, so whatever I gave was completely extemporaneous…  and so here I will recreated as best I can the speech I gave (with a few corrections and clarifications)

Hello, I blog as Texas Hill Country.  Some of you may know me and some may not, so…  hi.

First, I would like to talk a little be about myself, where I come from and how I ended up here.  You know, I have not had a life that was really all that different from Barack.  I was born to a middle class family.  We didn’t have a lot when I was a kid.  I lived in a muslim country for a few years as a child.  I then got bounced around between family members for a little while.  I have lived in several countries and even more states.  In high school, I worked at a Blockbuster video store right next to a Baskin Robbins.  Oh, and I am still paying on the student loans I took out to go to law school.  I went to Washington DC and worked for more than 143 days…  but, unlike Barack, I don’t think I am qualified to be President of the United States.  (punctuated with a snarky smile btw)

I come from a very old Democratic family.  My great grandfather was a Congressman under Roosevelt and fought to pass the New Deal.  My parents knew the Kennedys and went to the Holy Trinity Catholic church with Teddy and, occassionally, Bobby.  My Dad was going to Georgetown Law and my Mom worked in the Jesuits office.  Every so often, Father McSorley at the school would ask my Mom and a few of the students to help Kennedys and do odd jobs, small clerical stuff and the like.

As a kid growing up I always heard how inspirational and how amazing the Kennedys were and just how much Jack, Bobby and Ted meant to my parents.

Well, fast forward to the 90′s.  Bill Clinton came on the scene, I could vote and I was intensely interested in politics.  Very quickly, the man from Hope, Bill Clinton, became my Jack Kennedy. After Hillary gave her speech in Beijing on how women’s rights are human rights I was floored by her.  She became my Bobby.  I love them dearly.  They have meant so much to me and inspired me in incredible ways.

But I will never forget or forgive how their character was assassinated this year.

It is fortuitous and ironic that we gather here, in Cheeseman Park, the site of a former cemetery, to celebrate the death of democracy.

And, so I stand before you with hope.  Hope for change, but not the type of change Barack Obama wants.

I have hope that I will live in a country where our votes are respected.  I have hope that I will live in a country where our votes cannot be changed.  I have hope that I will never have to look into the eyes of my wife or future daughter and say “You almost made it.  I am sorry the boys held you back.”

And I want change.

I want to change this country back to one where I don’t worry about my vote counting.  I want to change the Democratic party leadership to one where I don’t have to worry about whether or not they will listen.  I want to change this country back to one where I don’t have to worry about the sanctity of the vote.

And I want to change this country to one where we no longer have to hope…

We can just be.

So, there it is…  my speech.  A bunch of crap I put together off the top of my head.  I hope it makes sense to some of you.

My First Day In Denver… What An Amazing Adventure.

I came into town and immediate fell asleep.  I had driven all night from Dallas to Denver and badly need the rest.  After about 3 hours, I woke up, called my wife to check in, and then called fellow Capital Hill member Papau.

Papau was over at the PUMApac headquarters, so I got directions and headed on over.

WOW…  media everywhere, delegates stopping in, and the blogger station full of 6 people typing away.  It was a buzz of activity.

I met a bunch of wonderful people and lots of bloggers that I know and respect dearly.  I was also thrilled to hear people liked my blog…  I was shocked and humbled that people even knew who I was.  It was very nice.

Darragh was fantastic.  She came up to me and introduced herself, we talked for a bit, and became buddies quickly.

I headed over the the PUMAhomestead with Darragh Murphy, Sheri Tag, MarylandPUMA, LadyBoomerNYC, and Darragh Mom (aka Mamma PUMA).

We talked lots, blogged and got ready for the shindig and the unveiling of the Brad Mays movie, the Audacity of Democracy.

The party started at 8, by 7:15 there were 5 media vans there unloading cameras and a variety of reporters getting out of their cars.

The party was off into full swing, there was a coctail bar and catered food…  all excellent btw…  and the reporters just floated thru the crowd talking to a variety of people.  There were tons of them.

I got interviewed by AP, CNN, Le Monde, and a Japanese news paper…  and I am supposed to give a phone interview with a reporter tomorrow morning.  I saw she was holding a piece of paper with FT on it, so maybe Financial Times?  I dunno.

The one reporter that did not seem interested in talking to me at all was the guy from the Fort Worth Star Telegram…  basically, my local paper!  Weird, right?  I talked with a reporter from France for 30 minutes, but the one from home wanted nothing to do with me and was actually kinda rude about it?  ROFL.

Regardless, the interviews went well, stayed on message…  explained that it was not about candidates or platforms, it was about the process… the breaking of the rules, the changing of votes, the caucus fraud, etc etc….

I listened to Diane Mantouvalous, Will Bower, and Darragh Murphy give interviews as well, and they said much the same thing.  I was thrilled with that because the message is getting tightened up and more clearly stated.

The most shocking part of it is that the reporters were really responsive to what we were saying and that the puma narritive has really changed from the “bitter old women” meme to one of understanding…  of hey, ok, we are starting to get it now…  and oh, wow, ok your segment of the party could very well make or break this election cycle.  You people are for real.

My honest guess is that when Obama passed over Hillary as the VP, and it came out that he had not even vetted her or discussed the selection with her and then made the announcement by sending out a 3AM text message…  I think that the reporters and the media realized that it was not us that split the party, that the Obama campaign has been treating Hillary disrespectfully and by proxy the 18 million people that voted for her.

I think they are also starting to actually listen to us and why we are angry.  It is not the candidates, its how it was run.

It has been a wonderful change in the story.  It looks as if the media is turning around!

Retraction: Debt Relief Far Less Than Projected

Keeping my promise to tell the whole truth and nothing but the truth, I must retract a previous statement.

In Mid July I reported that Will Bower had a source inside or very close to the Clinton camp that passed along fundraising information for the July 4th PumaPush intended to help Hillary pay off her campaign debt.

Based upon information from the source, Bower reported that PUMA’s had raised $4-6 million

We now know that the figure is far less, ranging between $2 to $3 million.  While still a tidy sum, not nearly what was hoped for or expected.

I have deleted the previous article from my site to prevent any confusion on this matter.

US News & World Report Finally Gets It – Why Should Clinton Supporters Be Happy?

Over the past few days we have heard a chorus of reporters, pundits, and Obama campaign spokespeople essentially say “Fine, her names in nomination!  Are you happy now?  Will you shut up now?”

The miss the point…  big time.

Bonnie Erbe in USWR gets at least part of it….  while she is still focused on the ends and misses out on the problems that PUMAs have with the process, at least she isn’t dismissive about the concerns we have of Obama as a candidate….

No one can report on how all 18 million Clinton voters reacted to the decision [to put Clinton's name in nomination.] Clearly, overall they must have been at least somewhat pleased with the decision. But to ask, “Are you happy now?” carries with it an implication that Clinton supporters are a complaining bunch who won’t be happy no matter what the DNC or the Obama campaign does to try to please them. I am in close touch with the PUMA folks and other Democratic anti-Obama bloggers as I will be covering their activities in Denver next week. To ask the question, “Are you happy now?” is to dismiss the seriousness of their concerns.

From where many of them sit, the Democratic Party blew a perfectly good opportunity to nominate a moderate (instead of liberal), seasoned (instead of inexperienced) party leader (instead of Senate newcomer) with a long track record in international relations. Clinton’s “3 a.m. call” commercial is still resounding in blogs and media reports because when Russia invaded Georgia, Obama at first issued an appeasement statement, then the next day did a 180-degree turn, pressuring Russia to withdraw quickly. Such flip-flops on war policy are unacceptable but typical of what the party should have expected from a newbie. They also help explain why Obama is now tied with McCain in daily presidential tracking polls, rather than winning by double digits.

As far as the ends go and the PUMA unhappiness with Obama as a candidate goes, she hits the nail on the head…  dead on.  She also gives the respect that is due to the concerns of millions of voters, rather than minimizing them like the party has done.

This minimization from the party is some thing I don’t understand.  Simply from looking at the polls we know that millions and millions of Democrats are very unhappy with Obama.  I don’t get why they would insult us, call us Republicans, lunatics, racists, fringe radicals and more…

Regardless, the concerns are beginning to bubble up to the surface…

Best Of The Rest – The Problems In The DNC Run DEEP.

Shtuey over at Bitter Politicsz wrote a blistering expose of the “permenant” bureaucracy of the DNC and the incestuous hiring policies, as well as the consolidation of forces to push a more radical agenda at the expense of core constituencies of the larger party.

You lay the blame squarely on the shoulders of Coward Dean, Donna Grendel Brazile, Naughty Nazi Nancy, and Dirty Harry Reid. They most certainly have shared responsibility, and will go down in the annals of PUMA history as complicit executers of the coup, and as enemies of Democracy. But some elusive trouble is festering underneath the duplicity of the Democratic Party leadership. What is it? Perhaps we should ask Leah Daughtry.

UPDATE – Somehow I missed some of this when I first read it, so lemme comment on this upfront in case you miss this stuff in the article.  I don’t want you to miss anything.

1.  Leah is Howie’s Right Hand Person – she is functionally in charge of the DNC.

2.  Leah is a Pentacostal Minister, whose father is also a Pentacostal Minister

3.  Leah and her father preach Black Liberation Theology

4.  Leah speaks in “tongues” and considers it a gift from God…  yeah, for real…  tongues.

5.  Leah’s fathers church has banners on it’s walls calling for Reparations.

6.  She does not support gay marriage and is opposed to it for religious reasons.

7.  I repeat – THIS IS THE PERSON FUNCTIONALLY IN CHARGE OF MY POLITICAL PARTY?!?!?!

Oh Hell No…  No Deal.

Obama Says “Give MI and FL Delegates A Full Vote”

As most of us know, the Rules and Bylaws Committee gave back all of the delegates from FL and MI that were originally stripped from them, BUT gave each only a half a vote.  This was most likely due to heavy campaigning on the part of the Obama campaign.

And now, Obama is calling for the delegates of both states to have their full votes restored. (CLICK HERE)  This would put Hillary at about 100 delegates behind Obama.

While I do appreciate the gesture, some of it is a trick to muddy the waters a bit, a smoke screen if you will.  Don’t forget that he still has 4 of her delegates and he has also been awarded the “uncommited” vote in MI.

This gesture, while nice, does not address the issues that PUMAs are upset about.  It does not change the fact that the RBC changed the delegate appropriation and, therefore, people’s votes.

What it does show is that Obama is worried.  His poll numbers are slumping.  The Democratic party is shrinking and the PUMA movement is growing.  (CLICK HERE).

I will give him this…  he has learned that he needs to start puckering up and kiss some Clinton ass.

What I am not sure of is why he is doing this…  by putting her at around 100 delegates behind, and with 15 already committed to switching if given the opportunity…  the PUMAs would only need 85 delegates to change votes.

If the credentials committee were persuaded to rectify the MI fiasco created by the RBC…  that would put her within just a handfull of delegates?

Is he really desperate?  Does he have the super delegates in the bag and already know it?  Is he kissing ass to see if his polling among Dems gets better?  Is he making this concession to appease the PUMAs in order to avoid naming her the VP?

I am not sure.

Flashy Trashy

Mountain Sage comes out swinging once again with this spot on analysis of the Obama campaign’s tone.  I am a huge fan of this blog and it’s a regular stop for me…

This one in particular is called “Flashy Trashy”…  great title imo… great blog post too.

That’s how I see the Obama campaign and Obama. God knows his campaign has been flashy. Rock concerts, a plane with his very own logo, trite but catchy slogans like yes we can and we are the ones we have been waiting for. Wow, he even had his very own Vero Possumus seal (for a short time anyway.) Yes, it’s been impressive and flashy. But his campaign has also been trashy.

Some of the most flashy bits are also the most trashy. Seriously, his own version of a presidential seal? The O logo instead of the American flag on his plane? Rock concerts to pump up attendance at his speeches? Is that really the kind of ego driven campaign we expect from a potential president? If Obama were running for national event coordinator I could get with that program.

This Is How DNC Officials Treat Concerned Democrats?

PUMApac has a log of emails from Super Delegates that were sent in response to the concerns of Democrats that contacted them.

It is pretty scary that a political party expecting votes would treat it’s voters like this.  And they wonder why we don’t wanna vote for them?

Remember, the DNC Rules and Bylaws Committee are the people that changed the delegate count, and effectively votes, in Michigan.  Those two people, Brazile and Johnson, are in charge of our votes?!?!?!

CONFIRMED – 15 SuperDelegates switching to Hillary per PUMA08.com

It has been confirmed by www.puma08.com that as many as 15 delegates are switching their vote to Hillary.

Only 175 delegates need to change their votes to oust Obama as nominee and install Hillary Clinton.  This would leave 160 to go!

This does not come as a surprise on the heels of reports that 8 have decided to switch and that the people on Capitol Hill have become quite upset with the Obama campaign, calling it non-communicative, un-cooperative, and arrogant. (Click Here)  Add that to the fact that Obama has drummed up almost no money for the party, is tied with McCain in a supposed “no way to lose” Democratic year, and has done zero for the people down ticket…  (Click Here) and you have some pretty disgruntled super delegates, not to mention the disgruntled populace re: flip flops on several issues. If this trend holds true, Obama is in hot water.

Donna Brazile Sweet Talks The PUMAs

Preface:  This stuff makes me really angry, so if I sound a bit perturbed…  I am, so please indulge and forgive me.  I need to vent a bit.

I really don’t understand what the DNC members are thinking…  I truly don’t.  Are they mentally disabled?  I am really beginning to wonder.

PUMAs are pissed off for a variety of reasons and one major one is that we were treated like shit, talked down to, abused, and verbally skewered at every turn… and yet the insist on continuing to essentially tell us to STFU and accept their “chosen one.”

How many ways do these Hillary delegates, voters and supporters need to hear it before they get it? Sen. Barack Obama is the party’s nominee. He won. He will get to choose his running mate. Obama sets the agenda for the convention, and, while I understand their passion in wanting Hillary to be on the ticket and to have a prominent role at the convention, it’s not her decision.

Donna, I hate to tell you but you are not my mom, so don’t scold me like I am a child. 

As a matter of fact, you people work for me, so if I wanna complain and moan…  you know what?  It is YOUR JOB TO LISTEN TO ME!!!

And if you don’t…  I don’t have to vote for you, your friends or anyone associated with you. 

Try a different tactic or you are going to lose us for good.  Stop telling us to shut up.  Stop telling us that we have no voice and no choice. 

We are voters.  We have a choice.

This election is about so much more than our petty preferences and prejudices. One of the most common laments during primary season was that Clinton’s and Obama’s policy stances were too similar to draw any meaningful contrasts, so how can her supporters find McCain — her direct opposite — a more palatable choice than Obama, her policy ally?

Donna, Donna, Donna…  Don’t you get it?  It’s because it is not about policy.  It’s about much bigger, much more important things than policy. 

It’s about the fact that YOU, yeah YOU Donna, changed people votes…  literally.  There are 4 delegates that represent voters that should belong to Hillary, but YOU changed them to Obama.  YOU CHANGED PEOPLES VOTED DONNA!!!  HOW MANY WAYS DO WE NEED TO SAY IT?!?!?  YOU CHANGED PEOPLES VOTES!!!!

It’s about the fact that YOU, yeah YOU Donna, sat there and watched Alex Castillanos call Hillary a “Bitch” on TV and YOU didn’t say a damn thing.  When the sexism what flying, where were you?  Collecting that CNN paycheck?  Because you certainly weren’t standing up for what’s right.

This is not OUR fault.  It is YOUR fault Donna.   And I don’t know how many ways you need to hear it.

 

Oh, and BTW…  stop trying to re-write history Donna…  I know Obama and Oprah are fans of that, but don’t…  just don’t.

1.  You did not “vehemently” argue in February that people should not call for Hillary to get out of the race.

2.  You did not want every vote to count…  I saw how you voted on the RBC…  YOU CHANGED PEOPLES VOTES!!!!  You are worse than Bush in 2000.

3.  Gore didn’t lose.  You gave up.

Hillraisers Still Not Falling In Line – PUMAs Are Not The Only Ones.

The San Francisco Business Times is reporting that the declared PUMAs are not the only ones that are upset with the party, unhappy with Obama, and not falling in line…

In June, out of 311 “Hillraisers” only 8 donated, and less than $20k was raised….  can i get a LOL.

No wonder the DNC is sending admonishion letters telling Hillary’s fundraisers to STFU and open their wallets.  (Click Here).

 

With polling numbers dropping, Hillary getting out of debt, PUMA numbers growing, Hillraisers not falling in line, Super Delegates indicating they would switch if given the opportunity, people cheering louder at the mention of Hillary than for the appearance of Obama…  Yeah, I would be worried too.

Adopt a PUMA… Literally.

This is my new little side project.  A member of Capital Hill Forum, lachattefolle, brought this to my attention…

There is a place called Tiger Haven in Tennessee that takes care of abandoned, mistreated, and disabled Big Cats…  They have TONS of them, but they actually have about 30 Pumas (aka cougars) that you can “adopt.”  This is a no-kill shelter, a permanent home, and these cats do not work.  They are fed, loved and cared for…  and that is all!

I am calling on all PUMA’s to go to www.tigerhaven.org and “adopt” a puma.  You can also see their pictures under the “Meet the Cats” section!

 

 When filling out the donation form, there is a section where you can enter the name of your company/organization…  Please enter P.U.M.A. and do not forget.  We want to be able to keep track of PUMA donations.
