At the end of the Democratic Primary season, this was the situation:
Popular Vote
Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton: 17,857,446, (48.04%)
Senator Barack Obama: 17,584,649 (47.31%)
Pledged delegates
Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton: 1,730.5 (39.17%)
Senator Barack Obama: 1,747.5 (39.55%)
(source)
Then, for no apparent good reason, in June Howard Dean and Nancy Pelosis decided THEY, not the delegates chosen by the electorate and not the superdelegates appointed via proper party procedure, were going to decide who would represent the top of the ticket for the general election. Now that same leadership wants YOU to legitimize their undemocratic and unprincipled methods by putting their selected candidate into the White House on November 4.
But WE can say no to the subversion of democratic principles within the Democratic Party. We can say no with our votes and by urging our fellow Democrats to pay attention to the particulars of the candidate Howard Dean and Nancy Pelosi selected to represent the Democratic Party.
Put this ad on the air and let America know that our voices count.

From Public Record
In a déjà vu moment from Campaign 2006, President George W. Bush again is asking his Attorney General to launch an investigation into the registration of hundreds of thousands of new voters, many of whom are expected to vote Democratic.
Bush forwarded to Attorney General Michael Mukasey a Republican request that he intervene in the battleground state of Ohio to force 200,000 new voters to either verify the information on their registration forms or cast provisional ballots, which are often thrown out after the voter leaves the polling place….
House Minority Leader John Boehner, R-Ohio, sent a letter to Bush asking for his extraordinary intervention after the U.S. Supreme Court refused to get involved in the Ohio dispute.
“Unless action is taken by the [Justice] Department immediately, thousands, if not tens or hundreds of thousands of names whose information has not been verified through the [Help America Vote Act] procedures mandated by Congress will remain on the voter rolls during the Nov. 4 election. …
“There is a significant risk if not a certainty, that unlawful votes will be cast and counted. Given the Election Day is less than two weeks away, immediate action by the Department is not only warranted, but also crucial.”
On Friday, White House spokesman Carlton Carroll said Bush had referred Boehner’s letter “to the Department of Justice for their review.”

Vandals defaced the garage at Sen. Norm Coleman’s home, his campaign and police said Wednesday.
Coleman and his wife, Laurie, live in the Crocus Hill neighborhood of St. Paul. Graffiti left on the outside of their garage reads: “U R A criminal resign or else”; “Scum,” which is written three times; and “Psalm 2.”
“We’re considering it a threat to the senator,” Panos said, adding that three other Republican members of Congress — Reps. John Kline, Michele Bachmann and Jim Ramstad — were targeted with similar vandalism that police think might be related.
Laurie Coleman, the senator’s wife, told the St. Paul Pioneer Press that the family’s garage has been marked at least once before, but the latest incident was worse.
“This is just threatening,” she said.
Norm Coleman, a Republican, is in a tight race for his second term against Democrat Al Franken and Independent Dean Barkley.
I cannot believe I am going to have to add a new category, but this is getting out of hand… New today, the Democrat On Republican Violence section.

from PittChannel
PITTSBURGH — A 20-year-old woman who was robbed at an ATM in Bloomfield was also maimed by her attacker, police said.
Pittsburgh police spokeswoman Diane Richard tells Channel 4 Action News that the victim was robbed at knifepoint on Wednesday night outside of a Citizens Bank near Liberty Avenue and Pearl Street just before 9 p.m.
Richard said the robber took $60 from the woman, then became angry when he saw a McCain bumper sticker on the victim’s car. The attacker then punched and kicked the victim, before using the knife to scratch the letter “B” into her face, Richard said.
From Breitbart
Authorities say the woman is from Texas, but aren’t identifying her.
Pittsburgh police spokeswoman Diane Richards says the woman was withdrawing money at 9 p.m. Wednesday when a man approached her from behind, put a knife to her neck and demanded money. She says she gave him $60.
The woman told police the robber then noticed the bumper sticker, punched her in the back of the head, knocked her down and carved a “B” on her face.
From KDKA
According to a campaign spokesperson, after seeing her bumper sticker supporting McCain, the suspect said, ‘Oh you’re with McCain, you’re with the McCain campaign? I’m going to teach you a lesson.’”
After repeatedly hitting, kicking and threatening the woman, the McCain camp says the suspect carved a “B” in her cheek for “Barack” Obama.
As RightPundit says…
be careful out there. In the last two weeks, there have been multiple reports of vandalism, arson, shootings, threats and intimidation by Obama supporters around the country.
Photo: Not quite as bad as the reports made it sound, but that is probably gonna leave a mark for a good while, and she certainly looks like she got the hell beat out of her. This is getting crazy.

Wow… the violence of the Obots against the McCain supporters is getting out of hand. There have been death threats, arson attempts, physical attacks and now… McCain’s campaign manager for central Florida has had his house shot at in a drive by shooting.
Thankfully, no one was hurt, but this is getting really really friggin scary. These people are out of hand and Obama needs to say something… now.
From Local 6
The Republican manager said he is convinced he was targeted because of new McCain signs he added around his home…
Coverely said he has taken about 300 calls concerning stolen or vandalized McCain signs in the area.
“It says this campaign is getting vicious,” Coverely said.
Coverely said it appears Democrats are becoming more aggressive in the county.
“I wouldn’t say slipping, but I would say the Democrats have become far more aggressive in Seminole County because it is such a heavy Republican area,” Coverely said….

UPDATE: Martin releases his findings… and it’s either the find of the century or the whopper of the millennium. CLICK HERE
.
.
Obama nemesis and author Andy Martin filed suit in the First Circuit Court in Honolulu today seeking a court order to open Barack Obama’s secret birth records.
‘One of Obama’s most controversial and contentious issues that he has allowed to fester for years is the question of his birth certificate,’ says Martin. “Obama has posted at least two versions, maybe more, of a ‘certificate’ on the Internet.
‘I want to see a certified copy issued by the State of Hawaii, not one issued by the State of Obama. Why Obama won’t allow direct access to his birth records is beyond me. But the closer we get to discovering the truth about Obama the more we understand why he is terrified of that truth.
‘What is Obama hiding? Frankly, after being in Hawaii and conducting our first round of interviews, we think we have a clearer picture of what Obama is concealing, and why. We have more research and interviews to conduct before we can announce our opinions.
‘In the meantime, I filed a lawsuit against the State of Hawaii to require the state to open Obama’s birth records. The Governor and Director of the Department of Health are named as defendants.
‘The case has been docketed as number 08-1-2147-10 and assigned to Circuit Judge Bert Ayabe.
‘We will distribute copies of the lawsuit at a Saturday morning news conference, as well as making them available on a limited basis Friday evening upon written request. We will hold the Saturday morning news conference in front of the courthouse to provide additional information.
‘Friday evening I will be available by cell phone from Ala Moana Beach Park.
‘We will issue a news release later Friday with details of Saturday’s news conference.
‘The basic question remains: why is Obama trying to hide his life from birth to adulthood from the American people? Interestingly, we think we also know now why he has virtually imprisoned his white grandmother and refuses to allow her to appear in public. Who is the man behind Obama’s mask? I think my book ‘Obama: The Man Behind The Mask’ is aptly titled.
‘Next week, we believe we will be in a position to remove Obama’s mask and confront him with the truth about who he is and what he is.
‘One TV news network has already tentatively scheduled a conference in New York on our return.’
Seems like this is getting to be a theme….
