Shortly after the API released the story about a phonecall they had with Michelle Obama, the Obama camp released a denial that Michelle had ever spoken with them.
Well, it turns out that the API has tapes. And they are tired of being vicously attacked by Obama supporters.

API has recordings of the conversation between API and Mrs Obama…. and we confirm that the audio will be released to the public…
Many have question why Mrs Obama would choose a little known online media group instead of the American media. API was chosen because of a Nairobi contact that did not like the way API was covering Barack Obama using information collected from American media outlets. The Nairobi contact prevailed upon Mrs Obama to talk to API.
The only thing API may have done wrong is not informing Mrs Obama that the conversation was being recorded. This is why it is taking time to release the recording while consulting a legal team because API wants to be legally safe from any Obama camp law suit….
When the legal concerns are cleared, which is happening in a short while, API will make public all the recordings available. This will also include comments, not yet published, which will most certainly put the Obama Campaign spokesperson who had dismissed the story off balance.
WOW… if this is accurate, this could be really bad for Obama. The mainstream media would not be able to ignore this one and this will open up the whole mystery surronding his birth.
I don’t think the public will appreciate him not being upfront about things like this.

I guess that if he took the Oath of Allegiance from the ages of 18-21, he could repatriate, and presumably regain natural born status, if he ever had it. The INS should also have a copy of his oath, if he ever took it. When he moved here at or about the age of 10, he was, an undocumented migrant. The correct term is “illegal alien”. If he never took the Oath of Allegiance, then he is still an illegal alien. This shows the EXTREME INCOMPETENCE of the Department of Homeland Security for providing protection for an illegal alien, instead of holding him in an INS detention cell for deportation. By the way where was he born? Where is his certified vault copy Birth Certificate for verification?
It is an interesting LEGAL question whether a natural-born U.S. citizen who renounces his citizenship and later regains it by naturalization would be eligible for the presidency under the constitution. In other words, can “natural born” status be lost?
POLITICALLY, this is not an issue. Once a critical mass of voters find out that their candidate was at one time NOT A U.S. CITIZEN at all, the candidacy is dead.
IF it turns out he was actually born in Kenya or Canada (or elsewhere outside the U.S.), Obama’s best legal defense strategy is to argue – contrary to the evidence and story to date – that his parents were actually NOT married at the time of his birth, e.g. because his father was already married in Kenya.
There is some case law suggesting that in this case, the mother’s nationality is transmitted to the child regardless of the statute at the time requiring that the mother must have lived in the U.S. for 5 years after age 14. (Ann Dunham was 18 when Obama was born.) The rationale would be that the child might otherwise be left stateless.
Michelle seems to have floated this trial balloon “inadvertently” recently by saying his mother was “very single” at the time of THE ONE’S birth.
