Coming on the heels of the most recent commentary from Ms. Mallik of CBC and The Guardian that called Ms. Palin a Pornstar look-alike and her supporters “white trash” comes this gem from the Huffington post… an article entitled “Sarah Palin Naked” no less…
I realized three things tonight. For one, if you are a McCain/Palin/Bush voter, you and I do not have a difference of opinion. We have a difference in brain power. Two, she really is as ignorant as I feared. And, three, she really is kinda hot. Basically, I want to have sex with her on my Barack Obama sheets while my wife reads aloud from the Constitution. (My wife is cool with this if I promise to “first wipe off Palin’s tranny makeup.” I married well.)
Now, I want to be clear and speak directly to those of you who LOVED that Palin interview. You’re an idiot. I mean that. This is not one of those cases where we’re going to agree to disagree. This isn’t one of those situations where we debate it passionately and then walk away thinking that the other guy is wrong but argued well. I’m not going to think of you as a thoughtful but misguided person with different ideas who still really cares about the country and the world. No, sorry, not this time. This time, if you watched those interview excerpts and weren’t scared out of your freakin’ mind, then you’re mentally ill, mentally disabled, or mentally disturbed. What you are NOT is responsible, informed, curious, thoughtful, mature, educated, empathetic, or remotely serious. I mean it.
I will say again… what in the hell is wrong with these people??? This is not acceptable discourse. I am ashamed I was ever associated with the group of people that would put out such heinous… well, BULLSHIT (pardon my language.) The person that wrote this article is a disgusting and revolting human being and should be asked to leave the Huffington Post. They should have higher standards than that.
Sarah Palin is a very successful sitting Governor of our largest state and a Vice Presidential candidate. Show some god damn respect and keep your masturbatory fantasies to yourself.
The one thing that I realized after reading this article is that the author is mentally ill, mentally disabled, and mentally disturbed. What he is NOT is responsible, informed, curious, thoughtful, mature, educated, empathetic, or remotely serious. I mean it.

I. too, am ashamed that I was ever a member of the Democratic party. But then this really was not the party I knew! And I don’t make a habit of saying that line “not the ____ I once knew” every time I get embarrassed.
For 32 years I voted, donated and worked for this party and I simply never saw anything like what I am seeing today.

I listened to a reputable numerologist on a radio program today and she said McCain would win if Obama’s supporters kept up their attacks on Palin. So, that is the only positive thought I have after reading this trash. That, and the fact that I am also ashamed that I ever thought of myself as a liberal Democrat. I am a decent human being first and foremost and will vote accordingly.
Obama should personally thank Kos and HuffPo in his concession speech for all their loyal support.

Michael Seitzman’s (author of the HuffPo Piece) biggest claim to fame is as writer of the script of “North Country”, the movie that cast Charlize Theron as a coal miner. Here are some excerpts from other HP posts by Seitzman:

The only thing I find more disgusting than the pig that wrote this is that Michael Seitzman has insulted his wife publicly. I hope the poor woman is filing for a divorce as I type. These are people that are unable to help their disability, and in many cases have sought help to get their condition under control (something I might suggest for Seitzman’s family, as he is incapable of seeing it in himself). I really have a hard time figuring out the Democratic strategy to win this election. They call democrats who are concerned about Obamas experience and associations racist and ignorant. They insult the Clinton family who are loved by millions. They are quick to act like homophobes. They decide Israel, Jews and the US Government are responsible for 9/11. They viciously belitte a woman with a family who is a governor. Are these demographic groups they offend not historically part of the make up of the democratic base. How they hope or expect to win is hard to comprehend. I imagine they are planning a hostile takeover using new registered voters.
If what Seitzman said about his wife is true, he didn’t marry well — he just married appropriately.

We’re starting to see the true colors of Democratic party. As for this article not representing the Democratic party or Obama, consider then who is protesting these kinds of smears…Conservatives are really the only ones. I hear a lot from the Dems saying “Yeah, but…” Always a but in there and never an all out condemnation. What you see is exactly what you’re getting.

I disagree with Midlife Mama’s assertion that attacks on Palin will hurt McCain. Ditto attacks on Obama hurting Obama.. Let’s face it, very few of us are swayed by ads, debates and “shocking revelations.” We are all Americans, and indepedent minded, sometimes to a fault. We make up our own minds.
