I have spoken before about the netroots takeover by the Obama campaign, and the coordinated spread of memes, attacks on opposing viewpoints, threats, and constant beating calls for submission…
There was also the shutdown of 4 or 5 PUMA blogs on Blogger a few weeks ago due to violations of the Terms of Service contracts. Basically, Blogger had a huge number of reports that these blogs were being used to spam others.
Well, most people believed it was just an organized swarm of “Obamatrons” (aka die hard Obama supporters). Most people also believe that the radical shift in the netroots culture is due to the advent of the Obamatron.
Now, new evidence has come to light…
On July 22-25 Macsmind was DOS’d (Denial of Service) that originated from three IP addresses that are assigned to Barack Obama’s website. This isn’t a theory but was confirmed via law enforcement through an inspection of the site logs from those dates. The IP address in question; 66.39.4.254 66.39.143.229 216.146.206.181, are all registered via “Go Daddy” under the name barackobama.com.
On those dates, beginning at At 5:48PM Central on the 22nd, the hosted server that contained our site was hit by a 1.6 gigabyte flood of illegitimate traffic. The attacks never abated and only stopped when our host provider took us off line.
Speculation is one thing, but facts are another. This time however we’ve taken protective measures to prevent this from happening again. Additionally the investigation will continue and appropriate interstate authorities have been notified.
Translation: They are saying that people using computers at the Barack Obama Campaign are using them to systematically hack, attack and shut down websites that don’t agree with him.
IT LOOKS LIKE THIS IS NOT A BUNCH OF OBAMABOTS. IT SEEMS THIS IS HAPPENING BY DIRECT ORDER OF THE CAMPAIGN ITSELF AND IS BEING DONE BY THE CAMPAIGNS PAID INET SURFERS!!!!!

My blog has been attacked more in the last month than anytime before by Obama supporters or could they be….? But thats ok cause it confirms to us that Obama is no more than a politician that will do or say anything to get elected and he has some big money backing him and I’m not sure but I think The Nation of Islam and its leaders are pouring money into his campaign along with the black churches across America. No way to prove it, but I think thats whats happening!
How very progressive of them to shut down dissent.

Not a surprise. I think it’s largely an amateur action since the attacks are so traceable. I know that Macsmind has contacted law enforcement, so we’ll see.
Yeah, well you know how the Obamabots are–a bunch of idiots who think the Presidential race is some kind of reality show where they vote people off the island. They are too stupid to realize that it’s our country and our freedom that is at stake and they are more than willing to act like a bunch of Hitler Brown Shirts in order to “win”. Really, they are mental midgets.
I think Tennessee Guerilla Women is having the same problem. I cannot access the site. I keep getting the message: “Internet Explorer cannot open this site. Operation aborted.” I keep reading that Google is behind a lot of these problems. They are shutting these anti-Obama blogs down by calling them spammers.

My blog was attacked as part of that but it has been fixed. I am not surprised that the campaign itself is behind this. I am not surprised at all. He thinks we are his now and he doesn’t like to share his toys. We are not toys we are voters and not even his voters. We voted for Hillary. We have the right to vote for McCain or demand that Hillary be treated fairly.

I have been more than just attacked, I have had my vents opened, my telephone cut, and many other cowardness things done to me. They know that faith is what is keeping us together and the evildoers will come at us with full force to eliminate us. It will not happen. By the way, does someone know how I can get free cartoons to blogs without getting personal email addresses from them? If this blog knows- you have my email address- send me a note as to how.

It confirms earlier findings that the abuse many of us took at “neutral” democratic sites from Obots was not coming just from zealous or misguided administrators but from the campaign itself. It was the first sign I had of how dangerous these people were – and how important is to keep them away from amassing more power.

So glad you’ve succeeded in tracing these attacks. It is important to not only trace and record the sources, but report them to the authorities for criminal prosecution. I got hit last week with a “First Stage” tag and am waiting for the next onslaught, which is probably inevitable.
However, forewarned being forearmed, and after attending an internet security seminar last weekend, I have implemented the requisite trace and recording elements so that reporting offenders for prosecution will be a simple matter. It does not bode well for the Obama camp to be caught red handed at such a multitude of nefarious acts–it speaks volumes about both the level of fear and the lack of integrity that appear to be inherent and rampant.
I would urge everyone to make it their policy to follow through with criminal and civil prosecution of these offenders–the Obama campaign has hundreds of paid bloggers, and since many of these attacks originate from Obama headquarters sites, the campaign itself is ultimately as liable as the hackers and bloggers themselves.

I just had trouble logging on to this site. If you type in Justsaynodeal.org instead of .com, you will be routed to a pro-Obama site. I don’t think that was an accident.
