The Denver Group has pointed out that there is a distinction between Hillary being on the ballot as a symbolic gesture, the proverbial pat on the head, and actually being up for nomination.
We cannot allow this to happen. We will not be tricked, we will not be bamboozled, and we will not accept a pity vote.

There is a crucial difference between Senator Clinton’s name being “on the ballot” and having her name being placed in nomination. And the difference is between being a genuine candidate and something that is nothing more than a symbolic sham. Both the DNC and Senator Obama’s campaign may be attempting to negotiate a settlement where Senator Clinton’s name is on the ballot but not placed in nomination. They may think that is enough to assuage her voters. They may think that voters can be fooled. Our ads are going to make sure they know that no one is going to be fooled.

Hillary Clinton is a legitimate candidate, and just because she suspended her campaign, which she had every right to do, besides being pushed into ending it, by Pelosi, Dean, Reid, and Obama, she has the right to be PLACED IN NOMINATION… as well as being placed on the roll call. Let’s try to have an honest convention..or there will be millions of angry Democrats in Denver.
So now, when, as Obama thinks, he doesn’t need more delegates to be a nominee, he says that the MI & FL delegations should be seated in full and with full voting rights. So he acknowledges that the popular vote is clearly on Hillary’s side - better later than never.
It’s easy to tell now why is this rush - the polls show clearly that Florida is leaning towards McCain more and more, and Michigan is again a on a table. And in this heat I believe Clinton should use the situation without much hesitation and urge for a roll call during the convention. Let’s see who will get more delegates at the finish.
